Celebrating the greatest rock band of all time, Zeppelin USA (ZUSA for short) are masters at recreating the sound and spirit of Led Zeppelin, without the costumes or gimmicks. Their attention to detail, along with their onstage energy sets them in a category all their own. Comprised of veteran musicians, the band formed in 2013 and quickly grew into a popular attraction in the SoCal club circuit, selling out time after time, then expanding into Performing Arts centers and larger venues. The band’s stage production has grown accordingly, bringing their own fully synchronized lighting, laser and video equipment to augment the experience. An Evening with
Paula Poundstone

An Evening with Paula Poundstone

Heralded as one of our country's foremost comics, Paula Poundstone's quick-thinking, unscripted approach to comedy makes for a perfect fit on NPR's #1 show, the screwball weekly news quiz show WAIT WAIT…. DON’T TELL ME! , where she holds the record for game losses. Now, in May 2017, Paula's first book, "The Totally Unscientific Study of the Search For Human Happiness," has been released to glowing reviews. "A deeply revealing memoir in which the pathos doesn't kill the humor," wrote the Kirkus Reviews.

Paula also has her own podcast called "Live From The Poundstone Institute" coming out July 8 via NPR. With Paula at the helm, the show will explore and riff on research studies that are so odd they just beg for someone to stand up and say, "wait, what?" The weekly episodes will be taped in front of a live audience.

JAZZ VOCALIST
KEVIN MAHOGANY

Jazz Vocalist Kevin Mahogany

The standout jazz vocalist of his generation.” Newsweek

With over ten recordings as a leader, vocalist, businessman and educator Kevin Mahogany has been the standard setter for jazz vocalists for three decades.

His broad baritone was forged in his hometown: the legendary jazz metropolis known as Kansas City; where he learned to swing like Charlie Parker, shout the blues like Big Joe Turner, and cry a ballad like Lester Young; while, extending, elaborating and refining the jazz vocal legacies of Lambert, Hendricks & Ross, Eddie Jefferson and Al Jarreau into the myriad, interwoven dimensions of music – from gutbucket, the Great American Songbook, and gospel, to Mingus to Motown.

Acoustic Guitar Phenom
Tommy Emmanuel CPG*
with special guest
J.D. Simo

Acoustic Guitar Phenom Tommy Emmanuel CPG

There’s a science to assembling the parts, and Tommy Emmanuel’s technical gift has earned him multiple awards from Guitar Player magazine and made him a Member of the Order of Australia, an honor bestowed by the Queen in his homeland. But the average fan could listen without even considering the precision behind the work, focusing instead on the artful tension and release of Emmanuel’s melodies. That’s how he intends it.

“I write as if I’m writing for a singer,” he explains. “I don’t think, ‘Ah, it’s just a solo guitar piece.’ I try to imagine I’m playing with a band or with a singer, but then I play the whole thing as a solo piece and look for ways to give it space.”

*Note: Tommy Emmanuel's CGP designation stands for "Certified Guitar Player" – the title given by the great Chet Atkins to only 5 guitarists in the entire world.

Y&T

Y&T

Before Mötley Crüe, before RATT, even before there was a Metallica, Y&T was slogging away in sweaty rock clubs around America. When the band formed in the early 1970s, little did they know they would set the standard for hard rock bands that trailed. Many of the biggest acts of the '80s became popular opening for headliners Y&T—and cut their teeth on the band, as evidenced by the Y&T mentions in tell-all books by acts such as Metallica and Mötley Crüe.
